City Guide and Poster
The purpose of this project was to create a City Guidebook and Poster for a client. The client is the city of Menton in Southern France. The purpose of the design is to entice young adult, history and art lovers to visit the city. The city of Menton is very proud of their historical district, which is depicted in the artwork created by using Adobe Illustrator. It is a very colorful historic city, every color seen in the artwork is chosen directly from images of the city itself. I used both a decorative script type face and a sans serif type face. I used script type face to emphasize the whimsical and beautiful nature of the city and accompanied it with a sans serif type face for an easy read for all other information. I created each of the mockups using photoshop to show how the pieces would look if used.
